How to get free sheetmusic?

Frequently asked questions

Browse Sheet Music by Google Advertisements:

Why use Scorelib?
Because with Scorelib you can easily search sheetmusic that is published in many different websites.

How does it work?
The sheetmusic is published by a free sheetmusic website and Scorelib indexes this site to add it to its search engine. Kind of a 'mini-Google' for music. Indexing is not real-time, so it may be possible that you find a broken link somewhere. This is fixed at the next index update.

Does Scorelib replace the free sheetmusic sites that it indexes?
NO. Scorelib provides easy access to many scores, but does not replace the other free sheetmusic websites. It is possible that some works are not included in Scorelib. Furthermore, these sites provide much more information than only the scores. This is why we recommend you visiting the sites we indexed, each scorepage contains a link to the score website.

Is it legal?
Yes, but music may be protected by copyright. There are many forms of protection. Before using the music, you must check these limitations. The link to the source website in each score page should help you doing so by consulting the website that published the music.
